Hi everyone! I am fairly new to the whole graphics thing so pleas bear with me. I am looking for some guidance on how to make the Moire effect on Windows base OS. Basically I want to take an image and process it with the right program so that I can print it off and create an animated illusion using an vertical stripe pattern. So I guess I need to start with the program first, can anyone suggest one? Also any other information or help about how to create the Moire illusion will helps.:)
Thanks

Re: Moire Illusion
Hello dappie,
Welcome to Talkgraphics.
A printed moire pattern will not animate unless it is moved, either the viewer moves or the media it is printed on moves.
The pattern can be created with all graphics applications I know about.
Thank you for your reply.
I will definitely check out the Xara Xtreme.
I am assuming to create the moire pattern you need to enter some values for the variables. So I guess my question is how do I know what variables to enter for the foreground vertical line image to work with the background image. I guess a video will best illustrate what I would like to make.
