I was thinking more of clipart than templates!

I would like to be able to do that also! The Clipart, not just templates.

Also,
When you insert arrows from the content catalog, you don't get the option to attach text to line function. That would be nice to have, even though you can create your own work-around.

Ron, the Image Resource > Photo Clipart is downloaded locally when you right click on Image Resources folder. You can collect all your acquired clipart, form any source, and store in a local folder. You then use the Disc designs button in the Local design gallery to advise the Xara application where to look.

Adding text to a Smart Arrow has been requested in Dear Xara: https://www.talkgraphics.com/showthr...xt-on-an-Arrow.
Perhaps if you add a comment there, Xara might notice.

What am I supposed to see after right clicking and choosing "download all"? The only change or activity I can see is a "Stop Download" button, but I don't see anything happening. It's been running a looonnnngggg time without any kind of notification showing progress or that it's finished. If it is downloading, I can't tell where it's downloading to!

Is there a bit more to downloading these things than what you stated above?

Especially the websites take a long time to download, certainly if your internet connection is not very fast. The download location is: C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Xara\XtremePro\16\Cach e\designs\eng.

If you look at the the Local Designs gallery tab on the right hand side of the desk top, when XAra starts downloading it will say updating and then it will state it is downloading.

They must have introduced that recently. At least I cannot remember ever seeing that. Unfortunately, I cannot check it because I have not extended the update service due to excessive prices, disappointing feature updates, and slow bug fixes over the past few years. Thanks anyway for the heads-up.
