    The color version shows much more detail. Yes, Raymond has a point, in a 3-D world, the moon's reflection would be different, at its angle would skip across the water further and fade in the waves and the reflection of the tree far smaller. The moon is really much higher up even when on the horizon than one might just imagine. A softened edge would help too.

    Overall, a very pleasing effect.

    That picture makes me feel serene and relaxed. I could use it im my work cubicle.

    I agree with Ringtail...the original version was beautiful, and it just keeps getting better.

    Last Sunday, I was at a full-moon drumming circle and the moon's reflection in the water was much like this...razor sharp with almost no diffusion. Very light breeze, only a few ripples in the water.

    I really do like this picture!
