I had the same problem some time back. Check the setting "magnetic snap radii" under the mouse tab and see if it's set to "0" zero. Mine somehow changed itself to that setting and I had no edge dragging.

Yes, I recall that now you mention it Jim, thanks.
That does certainly disable drag-page sizing. I will add this to the Read The FAQs forum.
