3. Set transparency to flat - 50%
4. Copy image 1 on top
5. Set display time for frame1 to .. 2 seconds .

Look at flash preview.
Juergen
Juergen thanks you so much for your time. I will give that a bash, wish me luck, the animation (flash) approach is new to me and a little confusing and all because I don't know how.
Hi Barry,
take a look at the attached XAR file.
You can recreate this Slideshow with the following steps:
- Create a new animation. The new animation has only one frame at the beginning.
- Import your first image.
- Import your second image. The second image lies over the first image.
- Select the second image with the Selector Tool (F2) and give this image a new name (for example "test").
- Set the transparency for the second image to 100%. It's invisible after that step, but it's already there.
- Open the "Animation Frame Gallery".
- Click on the Button "Properties" and set the Display time for this frame to 2 seconds.
- Click on the Button "Copy" to create your second frame in this animation.
- Your new created frame should be the active frame for the next steps.
- Select the invisible image and set the transparency back to 0%. Now the second image is visible and because it's in the front, the first image isn't visible anymore.
- Preview the Flash animation in your Browser.

Remi

Remi and Juergen has anyone told you guys that you are "simply the best!!" Thank you! What a lifesaver you guys have been. I will work on those animations as soon as I can.
My little sad story is that my website which has been carrying itself for the last seven months or so has just stopped bringing in sales for some very strange reason. I am so low on funds this month and cannot afford to pay the Internet, Telephone and ADSL charges and i have had the freak-out.
Seeing that I am being looked after from sources from above, suddenly I have about three people wanting webistes created urgently and though I am not a professional website designer I stumble along and somehow get there eventually.
The way the net has progressed when it comes to CSS and Flash has left me a little cold and trying to keep up with the modern new web design/style is a bit confusing (never even got used to the old way properly).
So you see your help has proven more value to me than you can imagine. I am doing demo pages for the clients to see and hopefully they will accept (so that I can stop worrying about finances!)
Many, many thanks for all the effort you guys have shown. Once I had done the animations I will post them for you to see. It may be very much later or even tomorrow because what I did (seeing that I could not perfect the Flash animation) I exported my images as an animated GIF just for a temporary solution and we will pretend that it is flash!

I have to try this thanks Guys.
