I have extracted all the registry entries for Web Designer Premium 9.0 into a spreadsheet with the following columns. I do not have the other versions of WBD installed, but I assume the registry entries would be a subset of these.


KEY
VALUE NAME
VALUE TYPE
SAMPLE VALUE

Additional columns can be added for the information you want to log.

I can upload here or elsewhere if you would like to use it as a starting point. Let me know.

Also, unless provided by Xara Dev Team, determining the purpose for all the entries may be difficult. It might be easier to start with the ones already identified by XaReg or other posts on Talkgraphics.

I will start on the XaReg list.

I added a column in the spreadsheet called XaReg Tab, to identify which tab, if any the registry entry is used on XaReg. I've identified most of the ones on the left hand side of the General tab so you may want to start with others.

Haven't had time to go further with it and was offline yesterday will be most of today. Will try to post the xlsx file later.

I like the idea of Google docs. I have created a new doc that lists the options currently available in XaReg. I would prefer that these documents are private, so anyone who would like to see them, please IM me with your email address.

I have created the design document and in it there is a list of keys that can be changed. What I would like is help fleshing out the description of these keys - we can use it as the help file. I have a tendency to be very terse when I am writing and that is not what I want for the key descriptions. Anyone who is willing to help should first of all join SourceForge, then let me know and I will give them a link to the document,
