    I did two things on the snow area.
    1. cloned it and used fractal cloud trannsparecy and darkened to my liking, then moved it behind the snow man and in front of the snow.
    2. Grouped all the snow areas and applied the live effect diffuse vertically. That gave it that grainy look, particurly noticeable on the edges.

    I love your snowman, Larry! And am getting hooked on dropped caps, they're good fun.......
