    Default A Number Puzzle 3

Please give your answer in a .zip file or a .xar file, so that other can have a go at the puzzle as well.

WARNING: Some may not like the answer, but, remember that it's meant to be a bit of fun, whilst getting you to think, a little bit!

CLUE: You will definitely need to think outside the box, on this one.

I'm afraid that's not the answer, Steve.

Each ball number has to be added, as the drawing suggest.
And the answer you've given, doesn't do that.
    Sorry!

You have to add all three number you place in the spaces, as the drawing suggest.

Hi Rik, my answer is either cheating a bit or bending the rules but you dont say that we cannot do this. Otherwise, I believe it is mathematically impossible.

    Ciao

    Sorry, Roly.
There are no ball with the numbers you've used.
It does say in the puzzle to select 3 balls.

And I did say in the first post, that some may not like the answer.

When I first realised what the answer was, I did think that it was not in the spirit of things.
But, I did accept the answer, and thought it was worth posting. Just to make you guys and gals think a little bit.

The answer definitely includes 3 balls from the selection provided.

    Sorry, Frances.
    That's not correct.

It does say select '3 balls' to put into the circles.
You've chosen the same ball twice and left one circle empty.

    Please try again!

    Welcome to the party, siran.

You've fulfilled every part of the instructions, and that is definitely 'thinking outside the box'.

That is definitely the way to get to 30.
