    AFAIK:

    full colour view turns off the anti-aliasing; the gap you see is not really a gap, it is an 'interference pattern' resulting from the way antialiasing is applied during the slice/intersect operation; so turing off anti-aliasing 'removes' the effect which is purely visual

    so it would therefore follow that exporting an object as a bitmap when in full colour view, would export it 'without' antialiasing - but I have not done this for far too long to remember for sure

    ^ This is correct. It's probably one of the oldest "bugs" we have.
