Thanks!
Okay I deleted the mobile side. Now I just created a brand-new Mobile variant and it is duplicated to the same size as the main. I realize I have to shrink everything down even though the page option shows the width at 480px. So my question is, when I'm working on the mobile how do I stop from sharing with the main without clicking on stop sharing with variances with every widget and text box? Is there one button to stop Sharing with variances for the whole six pages on the mobile I'm working on.
Images and widgets (all the widgets I've come across) can be resized on one variant without affecting the other. Text is a different beast though.
Altering the column width and/or height is fine, but altering the text size, either with the text tool or resizing with the aspect ratio handles WILL alter both variants. Deleting, adding or editting text will also affect both variants.
Yeah, I kind of thought it was something like that. I'll get it done though. Thanks for being there!
I treat the mobile variant as a totally different website. The size is smaller, the bandwidth often slower. So I simplify as much as possible. Buttons have to be bigger and text has to be larger. Simply reducing the size of everything does not always work.

Yes, I looked at this when I struggled and you helped me before. I understood the concept, but it still seems unweildly; probably because I haven't used it enough for it to become second nature. The last time I had cause to practice I was under a time restraint and found it easier to revert to the Caveman solution of stop sharing in variants.
I really do need to play with this more as it's one of my pet hates. The Easter break will be an ideal time...if I can push procrastination into a corner.
Then I wish you a Happy Easter!
