Rik, you are decidedly going where no one has gone before!

Man, that piece is something to stare at and contemplate for a while, no?

Can I have the XAR file to print a copy and frame it?

Q: Why shades of red? It reminds me a little of somewhere inside the human body. Was that you intention?

Thanks for your kind comments, Gary.

    I used linked colours.
So, I could have made it any colour I wanted.
Looked at many colour choices, and settled on the red because it really stood out.

    ooohh @Rik....that is nice!
tbh i'm going to swipe that idea but go with a deeper blue to match the blue for all the stuff on my phone (i make a lot of my own icons and hack my most used apps to use the same blue color)
    really nice image.

Mikey, loved the animation! Where will it lead to? Where will it end?

    Aha! There is no ending!

I'm glad you like it, Mikey.
Use it where ever you want.

And, as this is an Infinity thread, how about a logo for it?!

I like it, Rik. Give it ten minutes more thought and I'll LOVE it!

I love the fact that you chose a font appropriate to your design.

I love the graphical idea that this is a thread, so the infinity symbol is designed from threads.

I'm working on an animation right now, of a slow zoom into a 3D fractal. Fractals in the 3D domain exhibit about the same stuff as in 2D; they have never-ending self similarity, so it's sort of like a ride down an organic hall of mirrors:

My processor is getting kidney stones trying to write the fractal stills!

    Thanks, Gary.
And take as long as you like. As long as you end up liking it!

Just one more play with the logo.

Very beautiful ones, both the 'flat' and 3D version

g'morning, Rik. I don't think every drawing looks necessarily better if one extrudes it.

I liked the awe (yes, awe) and simplicity goingh on with your original design better than what you did in #41.

Can you post it and let me do a variation on it?

    TIA,

    Gary
