Reveal Animations on pop-up layers

Don't know if this has been reported before, it's a new one on me:

Egg, Initostar has been advising this kludge workaround for a long time and it has been "wrong" since v16!

P.S. a more adroit way to moving objects across to different layers it to select the destination layer in the Page & Layer Gallery.
You then right-click the objects to be move and in the P&GL, pick Move to Current Layer.

Thanks for that Acorn. I thought I couldn't have been the only one to come across it. I'm not a great lover of the P&GL, I find it getting very cluttered very quickly.

Hi Egg,

You can create your popup content and animation on any layer as long as it has never had a link to it. Once you place a link to it, you have to revert to the workaround you described very well in your video.

I have never understood the restriction in the first place, hence the the workaround.
