A Dmitry spiral with a Xara line profile colored with EC 4000 and saved to PNG/ alpha to make a transparent Reflection Map for E3.

The map applied in E3 as a transparent overlay.

    Thanks Olivia,

These are reflection map coloring of vector objects in Expression 3.2. I spent many years developing my resources. I wanted to mak transparent wings. This one is a silver reflection may. If you look closely, you can see me photographing the gazing ball. I have many environments tha do all kinds of coloring. I was preparing wings for an artist, and had an idea of making a connection piiece. Other wings were in groups of matrix and cell images. They could be mixed and matched. The methods are somewhat unknown, and I am the only one to color them. The artist became critically ill and the images were never used. I did learn a few method improvements, and the effort was worth my time.

And a handsome fellow you are too, Rich.

But seriously, these images are excellent. Keep up the great work.

This was a Xara drawing colored in E3, and assembled in Xara. Overall it was about 12,000 pixels wide. It is possible to color very large areas. I was rendering at higher resolutions to get map fills of complex objects. A complex object is one where the map fill fails. I did find a way to get this to work. Dragon wings may have about 1500 holes, and couldn't be filled. So, higher resolution and zooming. Then rendering in the blind.
