My last alien post. I promise. If I don't back to work, I am not going to have any work to go back to

Gary, you live in a number of worlds. You brought back great images from the alien worlds, but we need you in this one too. Great Work.

This image is tops for me of all of yours I have seen. Now make a printed copy on your inkjet, go outside to your favorite spot, sit on the ground with your back to the North rim of the Sandias, facing the Jemez Caldera, looking over the Rio Grande valley. Crumple the printed drawing, place it in front of you, quiet your mind and light the image on fire. while it burns keep absolute repose in your spirit.
Great transformations will happen!
Peace and Love.

Cool Gary! It is great to see how effectively you have reused elements of your earlier. There is both the alien character about it and also something suggestive of the ancients. Reminds me of the whole 'Chariots of the Gods' debate.

You inspired me to create my own alienated prince. It features my son - who if he saw this would not be pleased! The image uses more of the macroscopy pics that are copyrighted by Michael W. Davidson and The Florida State University and are used with permission.

Regards, Ross

Thanks all.

Graham, good to see you back here again. Actually with the electrical storms we have been having all summer, perhaps I can just hold the image over the edge of the deck while looking beyond the mesas and over to Jemez, Cabezon and beyond.

The ring in the background around the head was in the bitmap gallery and I applied it as transparency to the background image just to see what it would look like. A little tweaking size-wize and it worked. I lucked out.

The rest of the image uses a lot of duplicates of the same beveled image with a variety of textures and texture transparencies applied.

It looks like it could be a god of an ancient people. Maybe something Indiana Jones would have encountered in one of his adventures.

I thought it was a spoof of "the Artist Formerly Known as Prince".

Nice characterisation Gary. Very interesting assimilation Ross ;-). Borgs would like your work, just I don't know what your son will say. It's a little bit scary.
