A movie poster for a film I was making, 'Key to the Payoff'
A centaur.. bg was done by someone else though.
However, in the last image, the reflection of the centaur is really off. Reflections are just an inversion of reality. It would look as if another centaur was attatched at the ankles of the real one upside down. It would follow the natural perspective. I've attatched an image to show you what I mean. The reflection is just a verticle inversion following the same perspective of the object being reflected. I did four posts to give you an idea of what a 4 legged animal would look like. You reflection of course would be distorted by the ripples, but the guide would be like this

Here's a common mistake people come to when they face reflections, they'll usually just take the object and flip it upside down and put a fade on it. You will never get a correct reflection with this method, in some instances you might be able to fake it pretty good when the perspective is not this apparent. But the correct method would be to recreate it in this fashion

Yes, I see what you mean. Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely keep that in mind.
Here's a patriotic image I did a while back, working with clipping images.
Another clipping project.
Taking individual photos and combining them to make one.
