nice joey. great light!
what brushes did you use?
ghi
Thanks...........no brushes. I "drew" with tablet and stylus using a "2B" pencil - then used "digital airbrush", followed by lots and lots of work with "liquid/smear", plus "FX/glow".
Probably easier ways to do it, but it was great fun..........Joey
Joey,
Nice job!
In Painter terminology, all of the tools you used to do your image are called Brushes. They're all accessed from the Brushes palette and I suppose Painter's creators had to settle on one overall term to use, that covers any drawing or painting tool in Painter.
Brush Libraries contain Brush Categories contain Brush Variants
... that can be in the Pencils Brush Category, Airbrush Brush Category, Erasers Brush Category.. etc.
There's even a Brushes Brush Category found in the Brushes palette's Brush Category drop down list of Brush Categories, which can tend to be confusing when trying to communicate, so I tend to brush that off and just go on using my Brush Categories and creating new Brush Variants.
Think I'll go brush my hair.

Hi Jinny........thanks for the information! Guess I need to brush the cobwebs from my brain and do some serious brushing up on brushes
Sometimes I think I'll never get it all!
Again, thanks..........Joey
Joey,
Don't worry.. you won't get it all.. in Painter, that is. People who have used it for years.. are experts.. still discover things regularly. That's what makes it an endlessly fascinating and enjoyable program.
You'll learn a lot.. and faster than you expect.. if you keep on asking questions.
Have fun!
