Greetings all! Here is a recent pic done in Painter 6. I thought perhaps others might like to add their Nightmares to this thread.
Cheers,
or should that be Boo!

Ooooooh yes! I feel the Fear!
Joey, that is an incredibly frightening image - the eyes, the mouth, the way it's right up close in the frame. I can smell the thing's breath. Awesome stuff.
Sunny, those flies - they make a wonderful pattern - your own? What are the other two patterns? I can't make out the detail there. But flies in the breast, what a concept!
Jin, the day you posted yours I'd been hours in Word trying to understand how it can make a simple thing like putting text and a picture next to each other so very complicated. Your pic
put a wry smile upon my face - struggle WAS a nightmare that day. Also, I love the satiny texture you get into a lot of your abstracts.
Thelonious, that is a nozzle, right? It's brilliant. And the picture is teeth-grindingly, neurotically, infinitely nightmarish, in the way the Sorcerer's Apprenice's brooms were in "Fantasia" (seen in childhood, never forgotten), but much more stylish.
Cheers,
Maeve
Maeve,
Thanks.. glad it brought a smile to your face.
I did that one while still working in a nightmarish job .. the kind in which you have to watch your back 8 or more hours a day.. After 4 years of that nightmare.. I was pretty much a basket case and the image just came out of me.. It brought a smile to my face as well.
The satiny look is the result of many applications of Fill, paint, and glass distortion.
