    Tzar, Tsar, Czar, Csar?

    Tchaikovsky or Chaykovsky?

Golly, I dunno, and I'm a quarter Russian and a musician to boot!

    Frank:

Sorry for hijacking your serious thread with wordplay! And, no, I never get any sleep either...

    Gary:

Let's keep sharing Tsara Techs, then maybe we can create some Xart...

    Ross:

No - Galina! My great-granny was Zinaida...

What? 2.00am again? Now I'm starting to sound like Q!

    Xartists.. hmmm.
Personally, whenever I approach a blank canvas I am an "Xartist", in that I forget all that I knew previously and I am yet again a complete beginner. And ever ready to "X" out whatever initial marks I tentatively place onto the canvas. At the worst of times I reach for my piece of string.. (solace in the golden section) ...at the better times I achieve mastery of the picture at last, and proceed with the painting.
Ultimately at the end of the painting, I yearn
for that "X"-ness yet again.. and it doesnt even matter if the painting is a stinker..
    now.. what was the question?

    <font size="1">"waxing philosophical again are we, Q ??"
    "Uh.. paradoxically.."
    "GET BACK TO WORK!!"
    </font>

I thought Xara was Russian from the start? Remember the folk song:

These are longstanding requests and I can only assume that they are too deeply embedded to be easily implemented.
