    Sunny, ma-a-a-ate!
Here's a nice domestic scene to remind you of the Old Country. Gumtrees, Hills Hoist and probably a blowie or two somewhere. Photo affected in Painter 6 with Highpass Effect.

    Regards,
    Maeve

Great shot, love the gum trees, glorious size.
I used to love hanging the washing out, one of my favourite jobs as a child. Recently went to south of Perth, my sister moved to good old Rockingham, in her local area called Waikiki, I discovered an amazing black boy, close to her back yard. Thanks Maeve.

Good Kurrawong, Thelonious, the best singing voice amongst the gums!

    Hiya Sunny,
Thanks for the pix. That's an incredible blackboy (or grasstree, to be more pc) - glad you photographed it for posterity. Gorgeous lush Perth bush - wonderful light over there, everything so clear.

    Hi Thelonious,
Excellent currawong, mate. So are you another expat Aussie, or just a birdlover ?

Here is one more Antipodean scene. My boyfriend took a panoramic series of Sydney harbour, I stitched them together and then in Painter 6 applied the Woodcut effect.

    Cheers,
    Maeve

    Yes, another antipodean.

The golden light on sydney harbour, nice angle. As you're a blackboy afficiando here's one taken in Canberra a long time ago. There was a field of hundreds of them. Some had five spikes and three trunks.
