I have a small complaint with the scaling limitation of Xara3D6. In v.5 one could scale textures down to 10% I believe and I found myself often using a 12% - 18% scaling, particularly with wood textures. In X3D 6 25% is the smallest scaling allowed. I wish that 10% scaling feature could be restored.

Well, there is a workaround. I just opened up one of the Xara files in Notepad and found all the Texture Size variables. Editing them was simple. For instance, in this sample the button texture size is 25%. Changing 250 to 100 changed the texture scale to 10%.

    <ButtonFrontTextureSize>250</ButtonFrontTextureSize>

So there is a workaround with a little effort. Yes!

Try typing 10 into the size box instead of using the slider.

Oh for goodness sake! I never even thought of that. As long as the cursor is in the size box, all I have to do is use the up and down arrow keys.

    Thanks, Christine!
