I was doing a piece with lots of bevels, transparencies and shadows and was saving it every few minutes. Then, when I finished it, I tried to save and got the dreaded error message. I cut the size of the illustration down by about 2/3 and tried saving again and voila' it worked....

I've notice several people talk about updates to Xara but have not noticed a reply - could have missed it - but now you're talkng about an up and comming update. Have you a release date for that?

Not that I've been able to fall for any errors to date, but I think (yes yes you all told me so) that I'll be buying a copy soon and would like the latest version on CD, rather that get a CD and then have to download a update a day later!
