Well this is probably unlikely to happen (black hole in our solar system) but it makes for good science fiction adventure

I stayed up all night doing this totally in PhotoImpact 6 ( www.ulead.com ) . All the shapes were made fully with 2d tools and perspective done by eye (so may be a little off but I'll blame that on the distortion in space caused by the singularity ;-) .......).

I really love sci-fi and this one is FUN! Looks like their "goose is cooked"--also that of good ol' earth and moon, nothing can escape! Don't be too sure about "singularities" not exisiting close-by...some labs have already produced them for minute fractions of a second! They claim it's safe since it disintegrates so quickly...we hope! :-) As it is, our galaxy as well as possibly the rest out there in the great void, have massive black holes at their centers according to the best findings of the day... :-) Amazing! I enjoyed your illustration!
