I would like to import a GIF file but I do not see a way to do it. I see wmf or xar file imports. What am I missing?
    thanks

    Hi fjm,

Welcome to TalkGraphics! I'm not the expert on Xara3d ... but the only way I know to import a bitmap image of any type ... would be to import the image as a "texture" to be applied to an object such as a button. The image below uses a .jpg texture applied to a button. Is this what you had in mind?

Yes, that's pretty much it. When I did it, my image was tiled, just like you would see if you took a gif and used it as a bacjground on your windows desktop. So rather then having multiple images I want just one image so it looks cleaner. I think I am on the right track. I think our image is what I am shooting for.
    thanks

If it is tiling, adjust the Size slider (on the Texture option bar) so that you get one to fit.
