Love it!
A very Chinese looking dragon. My one critic would be that the claws all lay to much in a parrell plane and I think a tail with spikes would asist the dragon look.

Hi Brian,
The flame is very well done, and the atmosphere gives it an excellent mood.

I don't think you need to have Vladimyr envy. That is one hot dragon!

I think your work is something to be proud of and need not be compared with others.
I like the way you've shown the background "out of focus". Cool!

Stunning work. But, if I were a dragon I would have probably put a little force behind expelling all that fire breath. So my little arms would have been a bit more spread out and maybe the claws clinched a bit.
Although in my Dragon painting they are not clenched but they look spread out and clawing the air (one is pulled back and the other is more forward, easier to do with more of a forward profile shot ).
I too like the blurred out background but I think that the body should be a bit more in focus.
Tail might have spikes running along the top of it from large to smaller as it nears the tip, but that is only a mature dragon (from the reading of the myths I've done)
It most definitely looks to be a Chinese Dragon, the head especially.
Brian, Please don't compare your work to Vladimyrs! Yours is very , very good. These are only pointers and tips, take them or leave them. I still think the piece as a whole is stunning!!

You have made a nice dragon.
I dig the claws.

I see the dragon as possesed with a tremendous amount of finesse and style. Waving his little arms about would not be cool.
