Hello
I have not seen this as a topic before,it is probably not new, but has anyone applied brush profiles to circles with large strokes.

Neat effect Mike,
I think I will have to play with that some. As one of those comedians on "Laugh-In" used to say...
Hmmmm.... Very interesting... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Very interesting, indeed! I never thought about doing that, however it looks very good. Thanks pointing this out Mike.
It makes for some fun non-abstracts also.

Mike,
I can't say I have. It looks neat though! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
I have a XaraXone "sealpup" tut idea to pass-a-long though (if you wish to get rid of the "tears" in your second example:
(1) Convert line to shape
(2) Break shapes
(3) Give the top most shape a different colour and send to back.
(4) Delete the "tears" that have now become shapes
(5) Re-create the fill
Hello
Thanks for the tip for removing the tears.
What this does show is that Xarax does have some problems with accuracy. The conversion to shape, changes the shape of the object, that is a curved segment becoming a straight line.

Neat-oh!

--- Mike, I'm not sure if I follow? My eyesight is not all that great, but I can't see a difference when I convert a line to shape? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
I also don't understand the "a curved segment becoming a straight line". I only get a few additional nodes (which is expected), but everything that is rounded, is still rounded? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
Not saying that you are wrong, but I just can't see it...
Hey Risto,
I think you need max zoom to see the traight segment tho... I doubt you would ever see it on a .gif or .jpg... Maybe in print with an magifying glass.
