Nah, Sheff, I still have a can on a shelf myself, for the occasional glueing. So you're not all alone in the world.

    Charles,

I would like to see correct Font names after exporting to AI from XaraX... Even if I use the Western fonts (even not Cyrillic), I always get in AI all fonts substituted to Times...

I miss the stuff for it's ease of use. But think of how much of that you have inhaled into your lungs, Sheff. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

I used to joke with my friends that one day I would take a deep breath and my lungs would stick together.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> Back in the middle ages, when men were men and sheep were scared, life was simple and we used to do paste-ups or mechanicals. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Ah, I remember those days. In those days we had professionals for all these things. All we had to do was to come up with the ads or the designs and the professionals would do the rest. Professional typesetters who knew how to insert an em space or an em dash, photo retouchers who knew how to bleach and dye a color print, photo engravers to make the plates, printers who could print 4, 6, 8 colors without batting an eyelash -sigh

just as much Spray Mount as the next guy. Personally, my favorite brand is Super 77.

I spray outside and hold my breath. When I re-enter the house I breathe again.

I like it because of its adhesive strength. I use it to mount 2 or 4 ply bristol to gatorfoam.

I still work traditionally. When working tradtionally, I primarily use Xara to either help me set up reference materials or vary/combine images of my work. By using reference photgraphs as fills, you can play with composition very quickly. You can see if your ideas or sketches work or don't work immediately.

I think Xara works very well when used in concert with either traditional art or images produced with other apps. I prefer combining Xara with other things to using only Xara by itself.

Yep, full agree with you Klaus..... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
