    Hi Steve,

    The textures and colours are very well done. I love the way the lighting falls away to black.

    I am interested in the texture of the red "cloth".

    Any secrets there or just a plain old fractal fill?

    4got to answer your Q!

    I made an octagonal red pattern for the base of the head then put a denim fill w/ a stained glass transparency on top. All the shadings and highlights were placed under the denim fill

    Looks great with the smaller eyes.

    The texture on the red part was one of the first things that grabbed me too, nice effect. Thanks for the info on what you did to achieve it.

    Sorry, totally forgot about the dash suggestion! But you are definitely right, it looks a lot better!
    Glen, I didn't make use of a nose because I wanted people to look at it and see "spider-man" not Peter Parker w/ a mask on. Just wanted more of an illusion I guess

    And Gary, you may definitely call me Dude!
