Looks very good. The glow give the impression he is ready for anything. Fully charged and ready to start blasting

Maybe my monitor is off, I couldn't see the model Stu so I brightened your image up a little bit. Its to cool of a mech. to be hidden in the dark.

    Thanks guys

This is about where the lighting looks right on my monitor, with a levels adjustment to 1.2 for the Mac to Windows calculation.

Hopefully the lighter background might be a bit better.

Just my 2 cents -- I've gotta hand it to ya Mike, I love the bright metal version you posted! I agree this is too good to be hidden in the dark.

The lighter background helps with the blackened metal version...but it's still soooo dark...but I think the potential of the brighter metal mech is very high, especially considering it's being added to a daylight scene. (Or perhaps the blackened version could be lightened up by the addition of dusty surfaces....) I think it would fit in and look like it belonged in a daylight scene, and its highlights would keep it from looking like it was composited into the scene. I like the brighter version best so far, it shows off all the details better, the textures also.
Anyway, it's coming along! Nice work!

It was bud,but it looks like I need to sort some better callibration again ...didnt realize it was that dark...,and the bright version to me is like highly polished aluminium which is over polished,so off to the callibration mines I think..
