sorry, I read a lot of theory once; I appreciate that yours is the practical approach

of course if the pointers are broken, because they all resided in the indexes [excuse if that is sloppy terminology], you cannot tell which blocks belong together [or in what order] other than by 'trial and error'

The trial version of the software "STELLAR DATA RECOVERY" was able to find about 20-30% of my material. If I buy the software the result can be improved ?

The trial version limits the amount you can recover (save). It should show that the full amount it CAN save, just not let you until you grease its palm with silver.

The programme detected a small part of the material that can be recovered. My question is: Does the free version scan the same as the paid version?
Or will the programme be able to find more files after purchase?

Sorry, I have no idea. I fire up the software, which I initially purchased many moons ago, and if it has an update available, I update it.

A quick Google netted this answer. There may be more informative ones, but I'm currently watching The Gilded Age season 2 and Aunt Ada is far more entertaining.

is what I was quoting; this is recovery of data rather than a repair [of database]

Sourdough and 1880s New York probably have a connection if we dig deep enough.

@Jack, did you try EaseUS (or another)? Did the results differ?

Thumbs up Re: Recover camera photos after SD card crash?

I managed to recover most of the material.

I came across this video on YouTube.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEm5mjSAppk

    https://hetmanrecovery.com/hetman_pa...y_download.htm

Hetman Partition Recovery was able to recover 90% of the data from the flash drive. This is probably the best result so far. Overall, I'm satisfied because I managed to recover most of the data for little money.Thank you all for your help)
