    Ok thanks to the help, I have updated my owl painting. I tried to make the right side darker and add a little more detail to the body.

    That's terrific, Randy, just what was needed to enhance the details of the face and other coloration!!! A fine job [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img] !!!

    I am pleased with the way this came out. I am very new to painting. But I was hoping that if I practice my drawing and painting, it will help me in my 3D work. (good for textures and things)

    It looks a bit painterly, yet real. Nice job!
