    Thumbs down Confused!

    Dear Xara Cloud...

...how can you engage with people when you publish an update for Xara Cloud as a tutorial raised in February 2017?

You seem to have updated a Tutorial at http://outsider.xara.com/tutorials/february17/ and have revamped something that was for Xara Online Designer then into a tute for Xara Cloud(+).
The linking document is referenced in https://www.xara.com/uk/outsider/february17/ as "An Introduction to Xara Online Designer".
Will you please add this into https://docs.xara.com/en/.

Why would a user of Xara Cloud even know Outsider existed let alone know that a four and a half year old reference would take them to an article that is actually quite worth the read?

...on the good side you are still advocating a 50% discount with the LIFETIME coupon to "Get Xara Designer Pro+ at 50% off".
As this discount equate closely with the Magix XDPX upgrade cost and you clearly wish to have Xara desktop customers coming directly to you, why is this not the normal cost offer?

Glad you found it a good read! We try to keep the most popular Outsider tutorials up to date, but leave them in place to avoid any breakages and/or duplicate copy. Co-incidentally it was mentioned only yesterday that this one should be linked from the support center articles @docs.xara.com, we'll make it so (and add the 'Last Updated On' message that's supposed to be on all updated tutorials).

The LIFETIME offer is a special for Xara's desktop customers.

Kate, glad to see you back!

Thank you for connecting the dots on updated documentation for Xara Cloud.

Thank you too for advising the LIFETIME Coupon is to assist a swing over from Customers of the Magix products of the Xara desktop applications, as an incentive.
On this, if someone does this and lets the XC subscription lapse does they truly maintain the "lifetime" aspect when they resubscribe after a gap?

I believe so, but will doublecheck that scenario.

Kate, then that is a really solid benefit for current Magix Customers to switch to the Xara Cloud+ / Xara Designer Pro + subscription model.

    The three major benefits:
    1. No Magix involvement
    2. More frequent desktop updates
    3. Comparable annual costs

For most hobbyists, the added bonus of Cloud+ does not appear obvious.
Even if you never swing over, I commend getting a free Cloud account as what appears in the Xara Cloud environment is usually implemented into XPro+ as well.
You also get to view and access more content, especially those useful for those who are out of Magix Update Service cover.

If you progress to paying clients then a full Xara Cloud+/Pro+ subscription has a very quick Return of Investment (ROI).
