Hello, I cannot see where to add additional browsers on the Preview Web Page/Website toolbar. I am sure I have managed to add these in previous versions of Web Designer.
Many thanks

Welcome to TalkGraphics
I don't see these options in Web Designer 18 or Designer Pro X 18 or Pro+ and yes in the past you could chose a browser. Now it seems to use your default browser.
I'll see if someone from Xara can explain.

The internal preview used Internet Explorer to display the page (basically IE wrapped in a Xara skin). IE has been discontinued (by Microsoft) and the results/preview did not reflect how the website would actually look in a modern browser, such as FF/Chrome/Edge.
Previewing the web page will now open the website in the default browser set in Windows, to ensure it actually shows how the page will look for the vast majority of users. Your web page should look identical across all browsers so if it doesn't, please let us know.
Perhaps this may help. I'm sure Acorn, Gary or Siran could do a better job.

@ Rob The F6 doesn't work for me ??? I find the "click in the url which will highlight it, then drag it into your other browsers top bar to open it as a tab" just as complicated.
@ Acorn - The usual, doesn't work in Firefox

All and all, it seems a step backwards not having the installed browsers appear when a preview is created. The point of web designing is to be able to make sure your site or the site you have created for a client is going to work across the board.

It is browser-dependent but one of the following should work: Ctrl+L or Alt+D or F6 – focus switches to the address bar.

P.S. @Egg, F6 works fine in my FF.
