For many problems there are simple and easy-to-understand solutions that do not work.
from my experience I would not use clipview if I wanted to export vector to PDF, because PDF format can misinterpret the xara clipview which it sees as a group; it has no way of understanding the exact xara clipview parameters and things like this can happen
but that said someone may know a way round this

Hi rsrsrs, looking at the pdf screengrab it appears there are two rectangles (or corners of shapes) in the pdf, one under and one over the left side shapes. I think that HD is refering to this in his post above. This might be created by Adobe creating clip views. Note the red and green highlighted lines.
Only way to say for sure is to view your xar/web file.

No real solution but a fix might be to convert the ClipView Object to Editable Shapes, Ungroup and then apply your required Line Width.

This type of work-around is a pita if there are very many objects. Basically, the object to be clipped to has to cannot have the outline.
As Acorn & Mike have suggested avoid stroke/line widths and I avoid Clip-Views:

thnx all,
usually i just make copy in this case of the circle with no filling.
i think its funny that xara interpret it wrong but nice
and pdf interpret it right but ugly.
i prefer the xara way ...
