I'm a newcomer, so this might obvious but: how do you decide the right angle for the light if you want to retain the right RGB figures?

The problem is that whenever I create a certain colour the light angle affects the shade of colour and it's not what it should be.

This is annoying as I'm building a website and create a line or a box in PSP with certain RGB and if I try to create a text in Xara with matching RGB it never works because of this light issue.

I'm sure there's a solution for this. Please, help.

    Cheers

Sorry for the long delay in answering this post but I was hoping someone with a bit more technical naff than me would answer first.
As I understand your question your applying a colour to an object, but when Xara3D renders the object the lighting alters this colour. Is this correct?
If so this is exactly what should be happening. Light reflecting from an object will change it's colour.
I suggest if you want to reduce this effect then change all the light's colours to white. Secondly apply a 'text 'texture' to the shape using the colour you want.
Come back with more details if this isn't answering your problem.
Welcome to the forums by the way.
