A very grey area. Is it a matter of Unsplash carrying images that were uploaded by someone other than the original photographer or a case of a get rich quick lawers using fake copyright infringements, as per the single comment pointing to Prenda Law. Unsplash really need to tighten up their licence description as on one page they state there's no restrictions whilst deeper down they state you shouldn't use:
Note that the Unsplash License does not include the right to use:
- Trademarks, logos, or brands that appear in Photos
- People’s images if they are recognizable in the Photos
- Works of art or authorship that appear in Photos
So all in all a minefeild.
