    Default Stream in flux.

This was taken a while ago, outside the old walled village of Glorenza in Northern Italy. I liked the feeling it gives of powerful Springtime water surge.

That's a lovely photograph and your right it gives you a feeling of the water flowing fast.

    Beautiful photo!

I was wondering how it would look with a flowing stream, especially with the waves travelling downstream and I made up a quick video. I hope you don't mind. If you do, please let me know.

Since stygg mentioned Gary's life ring, I thought that I'd add that in as well. Probably would be better to use Xara animation and give the life ring a bit of thickness. Still learning.

Thank you browj2. That is impressive and fun to watch. An inspired use of Stygg's suggestion of a life-ring for Gary.
You have breathed life into the picture.

I'm pleased that you both liked this video trick. What struck me about the photo was the apparent speed of the water, the waves and ripples, and I thought that this might be a good test of PhotoMirage. Photos that I've tried this on in the past did not have the same fast-flowing water and the results were not as good.

I tried doing the animation in Xara by giving the life ring a bit of 3D thickness. It seems that Xara does not like tweening 3D movements. So, I'll leave it like that until I have the time to try it in BluffTitler. Maybe I can add in Bix hanging on to the life ring.

    Stygg,

Well done! It blends right into the scene.
