Default Need help identifying a font.

    Hi all,
I've tried Identifont and other sites to try to figure out what font this is and am having a hard time. Does anyone know what it is? At first I thought it could belong to the Trajan family, but it's not quite there...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Quite close. I searched the Internet as well and came up empty handed. Mwenz would probably know.

Good eye Boy. Close but no cigar as they say. I know I have seen this font before but I am not able to find it. The R is very distinctive.

I also searched without finding the exact font. Here are two others quite close, especially at the N level: Trajan and Giovanni.
The R and S reminded me of Adobe Garamond pro but the N didn't match.Click image for larger version.

I'm afraid I would need a better sample.

The bowl of the P and F is not as deep on Trajan and Giovani. And the C is slightly different. The leg of the R is the most distinct. Kind of more of a peg.

I made it clear that these fonts were slightly different and I did not point out that the A and T of Friz Quadrata did not match.

That was very big of you. I was not criticizing Lorrain, I was just making some observations to help in pin-pointing this font.

Sorry for the late response...I was out of town....this is the best sample I have and it's still pretty blurry. Thank you so much for the input you all have already given....I've been having a really tough time pin pointing this one..It doesn't help that I have a crappy sample to work off of. Hmm, could this be it? CapitalisTypOasisMedium font
