You can't normally reshape an image with the Mould Tool ...

@Acorn, I'm not sure to understand what you mean. Is it:
- import a picture;
- rotate it by 90°;
- use it as an art brush;
- then what happens?

Steps are simple.

Take an image, or object.
Make an Art Brush.
Use the Shape tool to make two points for the line.
Distort the Line and add points to your liking.
Ensure the new Line is at an angle different to horizontal.
Create an new Art Brush from this Line.

Note: your 'mesh' is a two-step process and it therefore not readily adjustable, but it does a job.
