Looks like Magix are giving it away when you upgrade Xara Photo & Graphic Designer until 1st of Nov:

Just installed PGD v16 and all went ok, but did have following error message (what thumbnails, I wonder?):

Also, when installation had completed, the dialogue box had confusing button, "Let's get started". I was expecting PGD to open up when I pressed it, so I waited and waited but it didn't! (That's a another few valuable moments of my life gone forever)

So it looks like my 32 but plugins will not work with 16 even though I have a 64 bit machine. Bummer!

Larry it might be a specific issue with particular 32bit plugins. Things seem to running ok my end with some old 32bit Flaming Pear plugins.

Thanks, I have an older version of filter forge which is 32 bit, and, don't really want to spend the money on a 64 bit version, that's all. Guess I should install 16 and see what works. Most of my plugins are 32 bit. MAGIX solved my problem and sent me a download link for 16 so guess I'll try.

    Hi all,

Have just installed this only to find it won't allow me to export to PDF even though there's an "Export PDF" option. There's no PDF listed in the available file types. Rather frustrating as I made some changes to a poster I'd designed for somebody in v.15, and had to save it and re-open it in v.15 in order to create a PDF file!

Anybody else experienced this issue and found a fix? I'm guessing there's a file missing somewhere?

Saz, I don't have the application to check.

Usually, right-clicking the application executable or Shortcut and selecting Run as Administrator will ensure all needed files (DLLs) are loaded. You need only do this once.

Didn't work sadly! Even tried rebooting my laptop.

I checked the "FileFormats" file and it's listed there under JPEG2000 files, just the same as in v15, but when you go to select the file type on exporting, it's not showing up.
