    Default Burning The Midnight Oil

Just finished this today. Still a couple of things I might adjust, i.e. the scientist/doctor/inventor's pants.

Anyway, I applied a filter, using Xara, with a fractal plasma, color transparency to give it a distressed look. ALL my work EXCEPT for the walnut wood grain on the chest of drawers. The wood grain on the rest was created by me and it's NOT a bitmap.

    Thanks, Gary and Eric!

Here's another effect I tried. (Van Goghish?)

I forgot to post the untouched version. All Xara, no outside software.

I think the Van Goghish version is very effective in removing the often too clean lines of a vector drawing Ron.

    Thanks, Eric.
I kind of liked it too. What suggestion/s do you have regarding the effect? A little less of the effect or a little more? More, I think would be too much, but I would like opinions whether or not the effect should be lessened or leave it like it is.

Ron, excellent work as always. These would look very cool as prints.

Egg, I'd just looked in and thought the pendulum just needed to swing! You win hands down and OTT with the failed writings.
