Sean, I don't know what version of Xara you have as your profile only states '365' which isn't much help.

A Live Copy is:

Live Copies give you a way of having multiple copies of an object that are linked together so that if one copy is changed they all change.
I seem to remember this is only available in Xara Designer Pro X and not Xara Web Designer.
