    Default Light Bulb

Being inspired by Rik's bulb, I drew this bulb and for the filament and it's connection I have drawn them from an old tut. by G.P. The original filament was two coloured lines, I used the same, lines, but one white and one with a tinge of blue then made a blend. Not as good as Rik's bulb but pleased (reasonably) with the outcome

Like it a lot Stygg. Kinda reminiscent of Rik's scribble. Never the less great job.

I did say in my post Larry that I was inspired by Rik's bulb and made my own attempt but adding the filament and a couple of other things from a G.P. tutorial.

    Thanks for the permission, Stygg.

The glass part of the bulb is really very good and, personally, I wouldn't make any changes to that.
    However...
The bayonet, I thought, needed a little more work.

So, here's my take on it.
Of course I could have done a brass look as in your original.
But, I decided to do a silver one.

    What do you think?

First class Rik, I wish I'd come up with the silver in the first place. Your take on it now gives the image a photo realistic look. Will use your silver on a copy of the brass one. Cheers Rik, excellent changes.

That part is angled inwards. So the reflections will be different.
    However...
Feel free to show us all what it should look like with your drawing.
