Phone link

Hi all,
I'd like to link a .png graphic to a phone number for mobile and apple users on a webpage. If i use the <a href="tel:555-555-5555"><img src="phone.png" /></a> on the image, the image disappears from the site (but it's clickable!) and if i soft group 2 of the same image and use the same link, the phone number is visable over the image. Any suggestions on how to correct this?

Pete, if this is code in a placeholder, the url for the image needs to be index_htm_files/phone.png.
