no that optical effect is definitely there - but in a drawing you have no parallax through the glass, or indeed minute scratches on the glass and stuff - so you 'see directly through the glass'' on the screen and that is not natural - that said I have no idea hoe to fix, glass as had been said is very hard, it's a great drawing nevertheless
yeh like those turbines/wheels that you can make your self see spinning in either direction - brain needs points of reference for perspective [bit like triangulation]

Yes there is a definite optical illusion that can sometimes cause the glass to look distorted.
