    Default PDF dropping letters

I am having similar problems exporting PDF I am working on and I am not using Firefox. It is dropping letters from Arial bold. It definitely is something in the latest version as I have been working with generating a PDF from this file for several years now.
Of course, with the latest 365 system I don't have last years version of XDP anymore.

    Completely different issue, Grace.

Likely this issue should be split off to a new post and my response deleted...

If you would also upload a file that exhibits the issue, that would be great.

I was planning to, I have just been procrastinating. I will try working on it today.

    Default PDF dropping letters

I am starting a new thread and adding some recent posts.

I'll also mention recently I submitted a PDF small book, 36 pages to CreateSpace and the PDF was rejected. In the example CreateSpace posted for me to see the problem, all the lowercase letters were not displaying. I submitted this issue to Xara but have not received any indication that the problem has been fixed. I believe the problem relates to the implementation of OpenType Ligatures. A new file without Ligatures enabled worked fine.

I played with my example and some letters did not display when I looked at the PDF in Edge, but did when I looked at it with "Adobe Reader touch". I can post the page if you want.

    Hello,

I do not know if this will work, but I experienced something similar with Foxit Phantom PDF, which dropped letters, and I was able to restore the PDF to full glory by running it through another PDF interpreter. In my case, I used the freeware version of PDF reDirect (http://www.exp-systems.com/PDFreDirect/Downloads.htm?2).

You could always export text/fonts as shapes... try if that helps?
