I just upgraded to the latest version, and it CRASHES with an Access violation exception error whenever I try to preview a page.
How can I revert to the previous version?

Hi Ian,
According to post 22 of this thread, the latest version is 12.6.2 something, not 12.6.0.xxx. If you are having problems with it, then send Rob an email at the link that he gives.
Good luck.

Xara DPX(19.0.1.65946)
Or just Go Help / Check for Updates & install 12.6.2
Hopefully this will resolve your problem

Thanks Egg, but I'm a bit annoyed....
Two days ago I fired up WD12 for the first time in ages (I'm using Mobirise more and more these days).
I was running an older version 12, and a message popped up that I was being given a courtesy update (or words to that effect) since my 'Upgrade Service Period' had now expired. I was upgraded with the version in the title of this thread.
This version crashes, and I have no way to get back to the previous version, and the only way forward is to pay $65, which I think is a bit steep (it's actually 65% of what was originally paid, when most support and maintenance fees are 20-25%.
Why wasn't I updated with a working version? Why can't I go back to the old version?
It's just rude!
As a temporary workaround, are you able to export the page then view it in you browser?
I'm assuming you have tried to update to version 12.6.2, as suggested by egg, and that either you were not able to do this, or it did not fix the problem
you can try uninstalling your WD12, and then reinstalling with the original installer that you used for this version; decline all updates beyond the point at which you fell comfortable with the program
if it really is the case that the 365 model can leave users in this sort of a state the xara really do have some explaining to do - they could at least offer a roll back facility
if you continue to have issues then raise a support ticket as also suggested...
