Xara Designer Pro X365 update (March 2017)

I've upgraded and now all my fingers are crossed that nothing is going to go wrong - but PURPLE Aaaaargh!

One advantage of the purple color is that you immediately spot the program icon and all the .xar/.web files amidst all the other program and file icons. I'm trying to be positive .

Thanks handrawn. Just updated and ran as administrator but still get the same problem (PDF doesn't create, and I get an excess violation message)... so it's back to the earlier version Xara Pro 365 which I've used for a couple of hours since the previous attempt with the latest update, and which works perfectly. Surely that means this new update - meaning Xara - has introduced the problem? Why else would the software work fine until the March update? That's a genuine query because I don't understand what else could have happened! Anyway, thanks for offering help, it was appreciated.

ok looks like your PDF may be more than just admin permissions - if there is a major PDF problem xara will soon get to hear about it - meanwhile you could raise a support ticket for your particular problem

and maybe one of the pdf experts, like mike, will have a solution to hand...

Hi John, I have looked on the Xara sites to see what has changed in this release and have found nothing on it. Have you seen anything that explains the changes ?
