    I am Japanese designer of website. How I can incrude Japanese script (hiragana, katakana, kanji) as text. Using Mirosoft Global IME all I get is question mark '?'

    Yuko,

    I had to go to the Microsoft site to find out what IME support is about. I suspect that XaraX may not support IME. You'll have to wait for a reply from on of the friendly people from Xara Ltd. to find out for sure.

    If you go to the Xara3D forum, you can find posts from "buddycom" that use kanji. I believe he is using a TrueType font.

    Yuko, Japanese TT fonts work well in Xara (Win98). Unfortunately there is no way of working with text vetically like there is in Fireworks, Freehand and Illustrator.

    I have Mac and Windows versions of all of these applications and I prefer to do Japanese web sites in Xara.
