My question is so simple, where I can find the crop tool? Am I blind?
However I cannot find any manual either. Xtreme help opens the http://www.xaralx.org/ and nothing else. I cannot find any manual there.

The crop tool is in the camera tools fly-out.
Your profile doesn't say what Xara product you're using? If it's Xtreme, I don't think it has a crop tool. If so create a rectangle, give it 50% transparency, move it over the photo, resize to required size. Shift select the photo, Arrange / Combine shapes / Intersect shapes.
Edit.Again if it's Xtreme, double clicking the image opens the Picture Editor. I'd completely forgotten that existed![]()

I don't think there is a manual
there used to be a linux version board on this forum, you can find it here: https://www.talkgraphics.com/forumdi...(forum-closed)
it is a closed forum so you cannot ask there for help but it may be useful to browse through
the program, as I recall was last updated in 2008 - I doubt there are many members here today who actually used the linux version at all, let alone still do; Talkgraphics is now soley for the commercial windows version
crop tool: there isn't one - what you do is draw a shape [or use a quick shape] over your picture - select both shape and picture and use the intersect shapes command [similar to inkscape, but I think terminology may be different]
the key shortcut for intersect shapes is ctrl+3 [or you can use the arrange menu / combine shapes to find it - assuming that it is the same for linux as windows]

Thank you! Yes, I use Xara Xtreme Version: 0.7 () in Linux. I have it even in Windows, but now I use only Linux, I like it very much, so I want to use it so much as possible. Grouping and intersecting worked very well, so I can crop geometrical shapes too, it is perfect.![]()
another problem solved
you may find the linux version restrictive compared to windows version, it was never fully developed
