OPEN FONT LICENSE is it safe for commercial work too?

I just downloaded a couple of fonts and the license was called an "OPEN FONT LICENSE". Does this mean it's safe to use in commercial work?
It doesn't specifically say it's okay to use for commercial work or personal use. Strange.

Good question. In shortest terms yes you may use OFL (Open Font License) Fonts for commercial use.
